School Business Manager job summary


We are looking for highly skilled and experienced School Business Manager to join our Nursery School.   The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and self-motivated, and they will enjoy the variety of work in a school setting. As the School Business Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the effective and efficient management of the school's financial, operational, and administrative functions, with a specific focus school budgets including Health and Self  safety.

The School Business Manager will be an active member of the Senior Leadership Team, responsible for :

-management of school resources such as income identification and generation, finance, the provision of external support services, and school premises.

-Supporting the school's vision, goals, and ethos, 

- contributing to the management strategy in accordance with the School Improvement Plan, Ofsted Action Plan, and other relevant action plans.

-Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with staff, parents, and external stakeholders.

-Exceptional organisational and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.

-Proficiency in relevant computer software and systems, including financial management software and Microsoft Office.
