As our School Business Manager, you will play a crucial strategic and operational role in leading the financial, HR, premises, administrative, and support functions of the school. Working closely with the Headteacher and senior leadership team, you will help shape the future of our school, ensuring our resources are used effectively to support pupil learning and well-being.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Strategic financial planning, budget management and reporting
  • HR management including recruitment, payroll and compliance
  • Oversight of premises, contracts and site services (cleaning, catering, maintenance)
  • Leadership of administrative and communication systems
  • Health & Safety and safeguarding compliance, including maintaining the Single Central Register
  • Grant applications and income generation
  • Supporting the Governing Body and acting as Clerk to the Resources Committee

What We’re Looking For:

  • We are looking for someone who:
  • Has significant experience in finance, HR or school business management
  • Holds or is working towards a Diploma-level qualification in School Business Management (CSBM/DSBM or equivalent)
  • Is an excellent communicator and strategic thinker
  • Has strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate teams
  • Understands safeguarding, data protection and school compliance requirements
  • Is committed to the Catholic ethos and values of the school
