The Role

Drayton Park School is looking for a practical, reliable and friendly School Caretaker to help keep our school safe, clean and running smoothly every day. If you take pride in your work and enjoy being hands-on, this could be the perfect role for you.

As our School Caretaker, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining our buildings and grounds, ensuring everything is in top condition for our pupils and staff. From fixing items and keeping the site secure, to supporting health and safety and working with contractors—you’ll be the go-to person for all things maintenance.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has practical skills in areas like plumbing, carpentry or electrical work
  • Is organised, dependable, and takes initiative
  • Can manage contractors and ensure high standards are met
  • Understands the importance of health, safety and sustainability
  • Is flexible and ready to respond to emergencies or out-of-hours needs
