Vacancy for School Counsellor
Salary: Meridian Trust Grade 7, Points 12 - 19
Hours: 13 hours per week, 39 weeks per year.
We have an exciting opportunity for a School Counsellor to join our team! The School Counsellor will provide counselling services to pupils.
The opportunity
Provide independent and confidential counselling service to pupils through individual sessions, responding to their personal, social, emotional or educational concerns
Promote a caring and supportive environment where such concerns may be explored, thereby promoting mental and emotional health
Work closely and under the direction of School Mental Health Lead
Maintain confidentiality (except in those circumstances, in line with BACP practice, where this should be breached)
