We are looking for a proactive and dependable School Facilities Manager to join our dedicated team. In this vital role, you will ensure our school operates smoothly and safely every day, from unlocking the gates each morning to maintaining a clean, well presented and fully functioning site that supports our students and staff to thrive. In your role you will : * Oversee daily site operations, including opening, closing, and security. * Carry out minor repairs, maintenance, and general DIY tasks. * Ensure the school is clean, tidy, and well-presented at all times. * Set up spaces for school and community events. * Monitor contractors and manage deliveries efficiently. * Support with statutory health and safety checks and record-keeping. * Respond to site issues, emergencies, and maintenance requests promptly. About Lift Maltings Lift Maltings is an 11-16 academy based in Witham, Essex. Situated between the cities of Chelmsford and Colchester, the academy has 900 students on roll and benefits from a modern, purpose-built site opened in 2011.
