School First Aider job summary

School First Aider -37 hours per week, 8:15am to 4.15pm Monday to Thursday and 8:15am to 3:45pm on Friday, term time only (39 weeks). Grade C - Step 1 FTE £25,186, Actual Annual Salary £21,601.80.

Deer Park School is a new state of the art seven-form secondary school which opened in September 2021. At present there are just under 1,000 students on roll across Year 7, 8, 9, 10 & 11. We are part of the RAISE Education Trust which comprises of Deer Park Secondary School, Wildern Secondary School and Boorley Park Primary School. We will have a PAN of 1050 when full.

As we embark on our next phase of growth we are seeking to appoint new members to our team to support us on our journey to excellence. As a School First Aider we are looking for a fully qualified first-aider (or someone with first-aid experience willing to update/obtain a HSE 3 Day First Aid at work qualification). You will be primarily responsible for dealing with first-aid and medical matters for students and staff along with a variety of administration duties. You would need to be confident, empathetic and with the ability to prioritise, you will be the first point of contact for parents, students and staff in this varied and rewarding role.
