What skills and experience we're looking for

We have an exciting opportunity for a School Improvement Lead for Mathematics to join our team at Ascend Learning Trust in this newly created role. Under the direction of a newly appointed CEO, you will be working within a dedicated and dynamic team, supporting a growing Executive Team for Ascend Learning Trust.

Reporting to the Director of Education, you will perform a leading role in raising standards, challenging performance and supporting improvement in mathematics across Ascend Learning Trust.

As a successful applicant, you will:

  • Have recent, successful experience as a leader of mathematics, with demonstrable examples of raised standards and attainment
  • Be able to generate improved results from effective challenge and strong leadership
  • Demonstrate outstanding communication skills, with the ability to mentor, inspire and influence others.
