SCP4 £12.65 per hour

Required as soon as possible, is an enthusiastic School Meals Delivery Driver to join our friendly and supportive team at our KS1 site on Saddleworth Road. The post involves the timely and professional delivery of school meals to designated school sites, ensuring all food items are transported safely and hygienically in line with Trust standards. This includes collecting and returning empty containers, maintaining the cleanliness and roadworthiness of the delivery vehicle, and providing excellent customer service to schools.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • A professional, reliable, and punctual approach to work
  • Good knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards
  • The ability to handle food containers and equipment safely
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • A proactive attitude in reporting issues, complaints, or incidents
  • The ability to follow safeguarding and confidentiality protocols
  • Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge and a valid driving licence
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Flexibility to take on additional duties as needed.
