School Receptionist job summary

We are seeking a friendly, organised, and professional School Receptionist to join our dedicated team. As the first point of contact for our school, you will play a vital role in welcoming visitors, supporting staff, and ensuring smooth communication within the school community.

Key responsibilities will include greeting visitors, parents, and students warmly and professionally, managing incoming calls, emails, and correspondence, assisting with administrative tasks and student records and supporting the daily operations of the school office.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organisational abilities and attention to detail, be proficient in Microsoft Office and general IT systems (training provided for Arbor - School Information Management System). Previous experience in a school or office environment is desirable

Pinner High School opened in September 2016 with 150 Year 7 students. We will admit 180 Year 7 students each year; so having 900 Year 7 – Year 11 students. Our onsite sixth form is now open with a full complement of year groups. Alongside this, there are 12 additional places for students with Autistic Spectrum Disorder. Pinner High School is part of The Harrow Academies Trust, a multi-academy trust established by the seven secular high school academies within Harrow.
