School Receptionist - Primary job summary
- Hours of work: 37 hrs
- Working pattern: Mon-Thur 8.15am-4.15pm Fri 8.30am - 4pm
- Term time: 38 Term weeks + 2 during school closure (min 45.797 weeks paid)
- Fixed Term: Maternity cover until January 2026

Your Key Responsibilities
- provide a warm and friendly reception service to all Caldew Lea School, being responsible for the signing in of visitors to the school, answering telephone calls and face to face enquiries from parent, carers, staff and the wider community.
- provide administrative support for the school office
- record pupil attendance
- be responsible for ensuring the main reception are is presentable, clean and tidy
