School Support Assistant job summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and efficient individual to join our School Support Team from April 2026.

The School Support Team provide administration support to school staff and assist with the administration of the schools trips and events programme

The successful candidate will have excellent organisational and IT skills and be experienced in data entry and producing spreadsheets, with accuracy and attention to detail.

Experience of working in an educational environment would be an advantage but is not essential.

The successful candidate will be required to:

  • Provide administrative support to school staff in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Be able to work well as part of a team and take direction from the team leader.
  • Have excellent IT skills and be highly competent in using Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel.
  • Be organised and able to manage and prioritise workload, meeting deadlines set.
  • Have excellent communication skills and a professional friendly manner.
