Grafham Grange School is a special school for 70 students aged 10 to 16 with social, emotional and mental health as their primary identified need. It is situated in 42 acres of beautiful Surrey countryside in Bramley offering significant opportunities for outdoor learning.

This is an exciting time for Grafham Grange School as under the leadership of a new Principal the school is now embarking on a period of positive change supported by London South East Academies Trust.

Graham Grange School is set to become a thriving and creative learning environment prioritising student well-being, ensuring academic achievement, developing essential life skills, and giving every student the opportunity to succeed and excel.

An experienced, passionate and talented Teacher of Science (KS3 & KS4) is required to lead Science across the school working as part of new robust and innovative team of dedicated teachers.

The successful candidate will have excellent teaching and learning skills as well as the ability to inspire and engage pupils to achieve.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work as part of a committed and collaborative team open to new ideas and different ways of working to propel Grafham Grange School forward elevating the whole community and establishing an educational setting where everyone feels valued and empowered.

All our students have Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) as their primary identified need, though the majority of students have additional special educational needs such as autistic spectrum conditions; speech, language and communication difficulties; ADHD; opposition defiance; medical conditions and attachment disorders.
