Join us as a Teacher, where you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality learning, utilising a range of teaching and learning strategies to ensure student success. This position is initially offered on a temporary basis with a distinct opportunity to transition into a permanent role for the right candidate. This position requires a professional who is aware of strategies for improving learning, understands curriculum developments, and is creative in finding solutions to enhance student performance.

Our Science department is a large eclectic mix of staff ranging from ECTs to those that have been teaching for over twenty years. We pride ourselves on having high expectations and aspirations for all of our students while delivering fun and engaging lessons. The team has great rapport and is fully supportive of each other and are welcoming to all newcomers. We have secured above national outcomes for a number of years and are always looking for ways to be creative and inventive in our approach to teaching.

We have 12 fully equipped labs with most staff having their own lab, we also have a Post 16 centre where there are an additional 6 labs. Staff can teach in their specialisms or cover the full range of sciences. We are fully supportive and will work with you to ensure you feel part of the team and are offered the CPD to enable them to thrive.

You must possess the skills and determination to make a significant difference to the lives of our students and share our single goal of ‘students first’.
