This is a unique opportunity to teach science in a setting where you can slow down, personalise learning, and truly place each learner’s needs at the heart of your practice.
In our school, no two learners are the same. Your role will be to recognise and respond to those differences, building trust, confidence, and curiosity through meaningful relationships and engaging science lessons.
🔬 What you’ll bring
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS or equivalent)
- Experience teaching Science across KS3 and KS4 (adapted to individual needs)
- A nurturing, patient, and relational approach to teaching
- Skill in adapting lessons to meet a wide range of SEND and SEMH needs
- Confidence in building positive, trusting relationships with learners
- Creativity in making science practical, engaging, and accessible
- Strong behaviour-for-learning through relationships, not sanctions
- A commitment to inclusive, learner-centred education
🌟 What we offer
- A welcoming, supportive, and friendly staff team
- A strong culture of collaboration and care
- A comprehensive wellbeing package for staff
- High-quality professional development opportunities
- The chance to make a genuine difference in a specialist setting where your work truly matters
If you are looking for a role where you can teach with compassion, build meaningful relationships, and make a lasting difference in young people’s lives, we would love to hear from you.
Come and help us ensure every learner flourishes and every voice is heard.
