What the school offers its staff

Primet’s Science team is led by Jamie Kinnane, Head of Science, along with other leadership roles within the team including Clare Swain, Senior Deputy Principal; Angela Marston, Deputy Principal; and Suzanne Tomlinson, Head of Year 9. In addition to this strong leadership team, there are five other teachers and a full time Science Technician. The recent investment in the facilities for the school has included three new Science labs, making a total of 7 labs in school. Details of the current curriculum for Science is available on our website.

In addition to timetabled curriculum there is support from the careers team to develop student experiences of Science and STEM-based career opportunities, with industry linked visits and guest speakers coming into school. As you can see, this role joins a well established and valued curriculum area, and this is an exciting opportunity to be part of this team.
