What skills and experience we're looking for

Endeavour Co-operative Academy is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic & dedicated teacher to contribute to high quality teaching and learning. This is a very exciting time to join Endeavour, as, at Easter, we are starting a DfE rebuild of the whole site, so we will be moving into purpose built accommodation by September 2024. Our final expansion of KS5 will be in place & our new Headteacher will be starting their role in September 2023.

What the school offers its staff

In September 2023 Endeavour Co-operative Academy will be a 5 – 19 school for 172 young people, all with an EHCP. The primary need of pupils is Moderate Learning Difficulties. Our classes have, on average, 12 pupils and 1.5 Teaching Assistants. All teachers are class tutors, which involves responsibility for registration, reports and Annual Reviews for a class.

All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements to ensure the safeguarding of children and young people. All positions will involve appropriate checks and clearances.

The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
