What skills and experience we're looking for

Fowey River Academy is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dynamic and committed Teacher of Science, to join our successful Science Faculty from September 2026.

We work together to create a caring, supportive and engaging learning environment.

This position is open to both experienced and Early Careers Teachers [ECTs] who are

committed to delivering high-quality education and raising the aspirations and

achievements of our students.

We are ambitious for our future and are working to establish the academy as the school of choice within the local community.

About You:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Science who places students at the heart of their teaching. The successful candidate will deliver engaging, inclusive and challenging lessons that inspire a love of science and support high-quality learning for all.

You will share our vision and values, contribute positively to a collaborative team, and be committed to raising standards and improving outcomes for students.
