What skills and experience we're looking for

  • Knowledge and understanding of students with autism, speech, language and communication difficulties or a willingness to learn effective teaching strategies for our pupils
  • An understanding, interest and passion in SEN, preferably with experience in working with students requiring additional support in accessing the curriculum
  • The ability to ensure aspirational pupil progress for all pupils, regardless of their prior attainment, which is usually significantly below age related expectations.
  • The ability to work effectively within a team
