Teacher of Science
The Four Stones Multi Academy Trust is seeking to appoint a Teacher of Science from September 2021 to work at The De Montfort School. The successful candidate will teach Science up to Key Stage 4 and either Biology, Chemistry or Physics at A Level. The ability to teach either Chemistry or Physics at A Level would be an advantage.
We are unapologetically ambitious for every student, no matter what their background, prior attainment or needs and are looking for people who want to be the best. You will be an excellent teacher and an inspiring character who is willing to lead by example, but will also contribute positively to wider school life. Most of all, you will be clear that education is a great leveller and work hard to help us achieve our goal of preparing every student to go to university or high-powered alternative.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure via the Disclosure and Barring Service.
Interested members of staff should read the attached job description/person specification and visit the MAT website (http://thefourstonesmat.co.uk/) and the TDMS website (https://www.tdms.worcs.sch.uk/) for further information. They can apply for the post by completing the application form on the MAT website (http://www.thefourstonesmat.co.uk/index.php/vacancies-new) and emailing it to applications@thefourstonesmat.co.uk by 10.00am on Monday 1st February. Interviews will take place later in the week over a video link using Microsoft Teams.
