Your role:
As a Science Teacher at Thomas Deacon Academy, you will deliver high‑quality, engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities at Key Stage 5 for those looking to extend their practice. You will teach a rigorous science curriculum that encourages students to think critically, investigate confidently and achieve their full potential in a supportive learning environment.
You will establish a calm, purposeful classroom through clear routines, high expectations and respectful relationships, bringing our values of compassion and courtesy to life every day. As part of a collaborative and ambitious science department, you will contribute to curriculum development, enrichment opportunities and shared professional growth.
In your role as both teacher and form tutor, you will show commitment and courage in supporting students’ academic progress and personal development, helping them leave us equipped for success beyond the classroom.
