Science Technician (25 hours per week, term time only) job summary
Are you passionate about science and education? Do you have a keen eye for detail and a knack for organisation? Ryedale School is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a part-time Science Technician.
As a part-time Science Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting our science department. Your responsibilities will include preparing materials and equipment for science experiments, assisting teachers during laboratory sessions, maintaining accurate records of equipment inventory and chemical supplies and ensuring a safe and tidy working environment.
You will have excellent organisational skills and attention to detail coupled with strong communication skills and interpersonal skills and flexibility to adapt to the needs of the science department. Previous experience of working in a laboratory environment is desirable but not essential.
