Science Technician job summary

Science Technician

Hours: Full time working 37 Hours Per Week, 39 Weeks per year

Salary: Band 2 , Point 3-6 FTE £27,729.00-£28,929.00 (Pro rata salary above)

We are looking for someone to provide support to Science Teaching staff when required, particularly with the preparation and cleaning/clearing of lesson materials and maintenance of equipment within Science rooms. The post involves the preparation of practical scientific activities, maintenance of scientific apparatus and contributing to the upkeep and organisation of resources. As well as having an interest in science, the successful candidate will be well-organised with the ability to priorities their workload and possess a can-do approach. Previous experience in a laboratory and/or educational context is desirable.
