Are you an experienced science technician looking for a new role? Or have you got an interest in science and would like to train as a science technician? If so, we have just the right opportunity for you.
We are looking for a science technician to join our successful and friendly science faculty. The overall purpose of the role is to complement the educational work of the faculty and to provide an effective and efficient support for the learning and teaching of science. Ideally you will be educated to at least A level in sciences and ideally you will have industrial or school laboratory experience enabling you to work in accordance with health and safety requirements. Most importantly you will need an aptitude for science, excellent problem solving and organisational skills with strong IT skills.
We have state of the art premises with excellent resources and laboratories within the science faculty. Science has a high profile at Caludon as not only are sciences popular option choices at KS4 and KS5, but also results are good and strong links are enjoyed with other schools in our Trust, local universities and with a whole host of enrichment groups.
This fulfilling role will provide a wealth of developmental opportunities and we will ensure you receive a comprehensive induction programme. The work is fast paced and varied, every week will be different, and we will play to your strengths. We offer a range of benefits which include the local government pension scheme, cycle to work scheme, access to the on-site gym and swimming pool, free parking, an employee discount scheme, and a commitment to staff wellbeing and recognition initiatives through our wellbeing committee and people strategy.
Castle Phoenix Trust has a great deal to be proud of, with super facilities and a desire to continuously improve. If you have the passion and determination to be a valued part of our team, we would love to hear from you.
