Science Technician job summary

Working pattern: 15 hours per week, 40 weeks per year. Some flexibility on the number of working hours, to be agreed with the job-share partner

The role:

We are looking to appoint a part-time Science Technician to start a job-share with our existing and highly experienced Science Technician.

This role will support colleagues across the Science Department at Frederick Gent School including preparing practical lessons, maintaining equipment and ensuring the safe storage of chemicals and materials.

The person:

The successful candidate will have good subject knowledge and a passion for science. You will have a strong understanding of the health and safety requirements, excellent IT skills and have the ability to manage your time effectively.

Strong communication skills will be essential to make the job-share work.
