The role37.5 hours/week (Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm), 40 weeks (term time/training days/1 additional week) -
We are seeking to appoint a Senior Science Technician to join the Science team by assisting with laboratory preparations and practical demonstrations to students in Years 7-13.
About YouYou have the specialist knowledge, skills, understanding and experience relevant to the nature of this post. You have excellent time management skills, adaptability and demonstrate careful planning. You enjoy problem-solving and working collaboratively with other technicians and science teachers on a daily basis. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a laboratory in either a school environment, or industry. You may also hold a professional qualification relevant to the role.
You will be able to form and maintain appropriate professional relationships with students and adults working in the school. You will enjoy the challenge of contributing positively to the work, ethos and values of the school and be willing to go above and beyond in this important role.
