Science Technician (Maternity Cover) job summary
AAAE5173 Laboratory Science Technician – MATERNITY COVER
NJC Grade 4: FTE £25,583 - £25,989 (this will be subject to pro rata)
Permanent/ Term Time only/Part time flexible hours considered
Hours per week to be agreed with candidate (max 37hours per week), 39 weeks per year
Closing date: Monday 26th January 2026 12.00 noon

Start date: End of March 2026 for 12 months
The Governors of Ruskin Community High School are seeking to appoint a Laboratory Science Technician. Candidates with limited or no experience are welcome to apply. An interest in Science and supporting efficient and practices is desirable. Flexible working hours will be considered.
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic candidate to provide effective support for students and the staff within an experienced and supportive science department. There are opportunities to join in the wider school environment.
