Science Technician job summary
For January 2025, we are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Technician to support our teaching staff and help develop the pupils within the Science department at this 9-13 middle school. You will need to have a science background and be able to motivate pupils to achieve their best in all aspects of the Science curriculum. Under the guidance of the department leader, the successful candidate will provide specialist support in the science laboratories, with particular focus on equipment, chemicals and specimen preparation for practical lessons and tests. This post offers an exciting opportunity for someone energised and passionate about working with young people in seeing them flourish, learn and grow.
Parkfields has 470 children and includes a hearing inclusion provision. The recent Ofsted inspection in May 2024 graded the school Good in all areas.
