What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to appoint an exceptionally well qualified and gifted Science Technician.

We are looking for an individual who:

  • Organises and delivers technical services to the Science Faculty in order to support the teaching and curriculum development of a range of Science subjects from Key Stage 3 to A-level.
  • Assists the Senior Science Technician ensuring that the Science Faculty complies with health and safety regulations in the delivery of technical services.
  • Supports the planning and delivery of our annual Science Summer School, hosted by Professor Brian Cox OBE our patron.

We will offer:

  • The St Paul’s Way Trust Research Centre involves two new research laboratories, a classroom teaching space, and other flexible multi-use spaces. The Centre will be suitable for conducting undergraduate-style research tasks which will give students an authentic insight into the world of scientific research.
  • A significant career opportunity for a colleague who is determined to develop further curriculum links between the school, and our lead Trust Partner, Queen Mary, University of London.
