Salary H4 per annum plus Outer fringe
32.5 hours a week - Term Time only
Monday - Friday 8.30am to 3.30pm (30 minute unpaid break)
Full Time - Fixed Term vacancy until 19th December 2025 (We would consider Part-Time applications)

An exciting opportunity has arisen at our oversubscribed and Ofsted rated "outstanding" academy for students from 11 to 19 years of age, for a Science Technician to support the day to day running of our Science department. This is an important and busy role for an individual who can uphold the ethos and standards established within the Academy in a calm and professional manner. We are looking for an individual with outstanding organisational skills and be able to support the Science team if required. You will need to be a team player but also be able to work independently and show great flexibility. The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience of working with in a Science environment or in a school environment. You will be well supported amongst an established and friendly Science team.
The school supports and promotes the safeguarding of children and is an equal opportunities employer. References will be sought prior to interview. This vacancy will be subject to an enhanced DBS check. Candidates will be required to provide evidence of the right to work in the UK. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974.
