We are now seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Science Technician to join our dedicated Science Department at Woolwich Polytechnic School for Boys.
About the Role
As a Science Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting high-quality science teaching across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. You will work closely with the Head of Department and teaching staff to:
- Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment and materials
- Support practical science lessons and demonstrations
- Ensure health and safety standards are upheld
- Assist students during practical sessions
- Contribute to the smooth running and success of the department

We are looking for a candidate who is:
- Passionate about science and practical learning
- Skilled in using and maintaining laboratory tools and equipment
- Knowledgeable about health and safety in a lab environment
- Organised, proactive, and a strong team player
- Experienced in a school or educational setting (preferred)
- Able to support and inspire students in their learning
