About Us

The Science Department

As a Science Technician, you will work closely with our Lead Science Technician and teaching staff to:

Prepare and organise chemicals, equipment, and apparatus

Support KS3-5 practical activities, demonstrations, and experiments, including for A Level and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.

Maintain laboratories, prep rooms, and stock levels

Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures (CLEAPSS guidance, risk assessments)

Contribute to the smooth daily running of a busy department

Our students are highly motivated, and many go on to study Medicine, Engineering, Natural Sciences, and other STEM pathways at university.
