What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking to appoint a motivated and inspirational teacher of Computing and ICT to be second in charge within our team of outstanding staff in this popular and successful curriculum area which is delivered at all key stages.

We are looking for an excellent classroom practitioner who is passionate about their subject to join our team of highly skilled staff delivering outstanding lessons to our exceptional students.

As Second in Charge, you will be the lead coordinator of vocational IT courses with the Head of Department, leading on:

  • planning;
  • training;
  • monitoring completion;
  • monitoring assessment;
  • monitoring standards; and
  • communicating issues to the HOD

The courses we run within the department are:

  • OCR A level and GCSE computer science
  • Cambridge Technical in IT(level 3)
  • Cambridge National in Creative iMedia (level 2)


2022 results

A Level Computing: 86% A* to A, 100% A* to B

GCSE Computing: 100% 9 to 4, 89% 9 to 6 and 46% 9 to 7
