Preston Manor is a high achieving and successful school. We are looking for an excellent Second in Department and Lead Teacher of Graphics to work within the Art, Design and Technology department to continue to build on its existing strengths and successes. Previous successful experience of teaching Art and Design is vital. The ideal candidate will have a passion for visual communication, excellent 2D and 3D skills, and the ability to teach practical lessons in Graphics, and Art, providing a creative, safe and exciting atmosphere for students to maintain excellent and ambitious outcomes. Applications are invited from teachers looking to develop their leadership skills and experience.

The Second in Department has a leading role within the Art, Design and Technology department as a manager, being responsible for the coordination of curriculum development in Graphics and deputising for the Head of Department. The appointed person will take on the responsibilities of the lead teacher of KS4 & KS5 Graphics as well as the duties of Second in Department.
