We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Design and Technology Teacher to join our vibrant school community as second in charge of the Design Technology department. This role is ideal for someone who wants to engage students with hands-on learning, inspire them to think critically, and help them develop the skills they need for the future. The successful candidate will bring subject expertise in Food & Nutrition or Design & Technology to Key Stage 4 (KS5 desirable)

About the Role:
  • Teach engaging and practical lessons in Design and Technology across various levels.

  • Encourage students to experiment, design, and create using a range of materials and technologies.

  • Foster a learning environment that promotes problem-solving, creativity, and teamwork.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop innovative teaching approaches.

  • Maintain high standards in student achievement, behavior, and safety in workshops.

  • A qualified teacher with expertise in Food and Nutrition or Design and Technology to Key Stage 4 (KS5 desirable)
