The Cooper School is seeking a dedicated and innovative Second in Department: English to join our thriving and supportive English department This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic teacher to support the leadership of a passionate team and help drive forward standards of teaching, learning, and achievement across the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in leading the English department to ensure high-quality teaching and outstanding student outcomes.

  • Support the Head of Department in curriculum planning, assessment, and raising attainment

  • Contribute to the development of literacy across the school.
