Witchford Village College is currently a member of the Morris Education Trust; a local trust consisting of two secondary schools, and one primary school, and a special free school being built in 2021. We are currently expanding our Trust so this is an exciting time for us.

We have 800 students on role in years 7-11, based in the village of Witchford, serving around 10 local primary schools.

The college is based 4 miles to the east of the Cathedral city of Ely, Cambridgeshire. Cambridge itself is just 12 miles to the south, easily accessible by train.

We offer a broad and balanced curriculum offering a range of subjects and specialisms to our students. Students are organised into houses in vertical tutor groups, supported by an effective pastoral team.

The school is in the middle of a substantial period of renewal and has improved facilities including the library, ICT hub, numerous newly refurbished classrooms, new canteen and dining facilities and a purpose built teacher training room amongst others.

The college has gone through a significant period of change to bring about the improvements needed to improve the college over the long run. All of the systems, procedures and policies have been reviewed to bring them into line with excellent practices, all of which have been positively received by students’, parents and staff.
