Second in Charge of Science job summary
We are seeking to appoint a full-time, Second in Charge of Science join a successful and thriving science department. The successful applicant will have a strong student management skills, significant experience or willingness to learn in tracking student progress and drive high quality science in education.
Key responsibilities:
to be accountable for leading, managing and developing science;
to be accountable for raising standards of student attainment and achievement within science and to monitor and support student progress;
to lead, train, support and manager other science colleagues;
to ensure the provision of an effective, knowledge-rich world-class curriculum in science and a commitment to enriching science through additional STEM activities.
