Secondary Assistant Maths Hub Lead job summary
The London central and North West Maths hub works with state schools across Westminster, Camden, Islington, Barnet, Haringey and Enfield, providing maths professional development that is underpinned by the principles of teaching for mastery. Maths hubs are growing mathematical learning communities of trained specialists and professional development leads who work closely with schools in their boroughs. As a maths hub, we provide bespoke support for schools, empowering their teachers through collaboration and evidence-based practices to inspire a love of learning for all pupils.
We have an exciting opportunity to join the London Central and North West Maths Hub leadership and management team as a Secondary Assistant Maths Hub Lead, working alongside the other members of the Maths hub leadership and management team for the Maths Hub and working closely with the NCETM who provide our training.
Time commitment: 1- 2 days per week (negotiable) during term time.
This role is a secondment up until 31st August 2024, in the first instance. The opportunity will be reviewed to extend for the next academic year. Your school will be paid an appropriate daily rate for your time including pension and national insurance contributions.
Consultants are also welcome to apply for the position, pay negotiated on experience.
