We are looking to appoint a dynamic, creative, experienced and driven individual who will lead the Social, Emotional and Mental Health strand of SEND within Sprowston Community Academy.
This role includes a combination of external professional liaison and referral completion, delivering group wellbeing interventions to young people and line managing the HLTA’s for SEMH who will also deliver group interventions. We currently have a large number of pupils with a primary SEND need of SEMH and are keen to embed this role within our current SEND Core Team which consists of the Assistant Headteacher for SEND and Vulnerable Groups, Specialist Teacher/Intervention Manager, EHCP Manager and SENDV Provision Manager.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of effective and current line management experience, delivering of group SEMH interventions and working collaboratively as part of a team. You will be able to show that you have worked with external services and been a part of planning and enabling external delivery to be carried out on site. You will be hard working, dedicated and able to provide professional challenge where appropriate to ensure balanced viewpoints between all stakeholders as a school representative.
