The successful candidate will be required to undertake training to fulfil this role.

Cams Hill School is proud to be working in close partnership with the local authority to deliver high-quality educational provision for up to 15 pupils with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) for Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

As our SEMH Resourced Provision continues to grow successfully, we are seeking to appoint a dedicated and experienced SEMH Resourced Provision Assistant Lead to work in close collaboration with the SEMH Resourced Provision Lead. This role requires extensive knowledge of SEMH and prior experience working within a Resourced Provision setting.

Main Responsibilities:

Support the SEMH Resourced Provision Lead in setting the strategic direction and ongoing development of the SEMH provision.

Assist in the day-to-day operations of the Resourced Provision and make decisions in the Lead’s absence, in partnership with the school’s SENDCOs.

Take responsibility for the timetabling of staff and pupils within the Resourced Provision and work collaboratively with the SEND team to coordinate with mainstream Learning Community timetables.

Support the SEMH Resourced Provision Lead in organising and attending meetings with parents and external professionals.

Assist in compiling reports and other necessary documentation for pupils’ Annual Reviews.

Support the Resourced Provision Lead in chairing pupils’ Annual Review meetings.

Organise comprehensive transition plans and activities for new pupils joining the Resourced Provision.

Accompany the SEMH Resourced Provision Lead on pupil and school visits as required.
