We are seeking to recruit Learning Coaches to join our Resource Based Provision for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Learning Coaches work independently and with other colleagues to deliver learning programs and interventions (educational and therapeutic) to SEMH pupils. Learning Coaches will support the pupils to navigate school life and break the barriers our SEMH pupils have in accessing mainstream lessons. Learning Coaches support pupils in all subjects across the curriculum in Years 7 – 11 working in the provision and across the school, as well as ‘case-holding’ their own pupils.

Applicants should be good communicators, empathetic, creative and passionate about education and maximizing potential. Applicants must be highly motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Previous experience working with children or young people, particularly with diverse needs, is desirable but not essential as training will be given.
