SEN Academic Mentor
30 hours a week (some flexibility can be considered), term-time only
Scale point D5 actual salary (based on 30 hours) £15,899 per annum.
Temporary post for summer term only, to start as soon as possible
We are looking for an enthusiastic SEN Academic Mentor to join our dedicated, successful and friendly team on a temporary short-term basis for the summer term.
The successful candidate will help students with barriers to learning areas access tuition designed to enable the child to best ‘catch up’ and support them in accessing the curriculum. The academic mentor will ensure that pupils make progress academically whilst developing students' sense of belonging at SCA.
Applicants should be enthusiastic, self-motivated, have a positive ‘can-do’ attitude and be prepared to work creatively with students to positively progress their educational and personal development.
