Your Role Will Include:

Leading lessons for pupils aged 2 to 19 with severe learning difficulties
Creating multi-sensory, engaging lessons that support communication, social, and life skills
Taking on leadership responsibilities and helping shape curriculum and teaching practices
Collaborating with middle and senior leaders to drive school development
Communicating with families and carers to support pupil progress and wellbeing
Participating in school events, including parents’ evenings and community activities
Receiving ongoing training in SEND teaching, behaviour management, and alternative communication methods (e.g. Makaton, PECS, AAC)

We now have satellite provisions in Stanstead Abbotts and Tonwell, and are working closely with Arlesdene Nursery to support SEN pupils.
