SEN Learning Mentor job summary

We are seeking to appoint individuals to work as part of a hardworking, skilled and enthusiastic SEN team, providing support to a number of students with additional needs in both KS3 and KS4. You will be joining a very skilled and knowledgeable team and will have a lot of support from your colleagues. We are a very welcoming team that have the children at the very centre of all our thinking. We are looking for candidates with the following qualities: - Is an experienced learning support assistant - Can plan, deliver and reflect on learning activities, adapting these for the next day - Can work with individuals and small groups - Is willing to go the 'extra mile' for our children - Will liaise well with the Inclusion team, parents and professionals - Aspires to be an ambitious and energetic member of the school team - Has a passion for teaching and learning - Committed to the highest possible expectations and pupil outcomes - Is motivated, hardworking and has good organisational skills - Has the ability and determination to inspire and motivate children - Is committed to promoting high standards of behaviour
