SEN Support Specialist job summary
We are seeking to appoint a SEN Specialist to take a proactive role in the 1:1 support of the educational and social needs of a student and to meet the requirements as stated in their Education and Health Care Plan or SEND Support Plan. It will be a requirement for the successful candidate to support the student’s learning in classes and additionally, the extended school provisions, as part of our enriched curriculum. The role will also involve collaborating in the development and delivery of specific interventions, either in small groups or within the classroom environment. Previous experience of working with young people with additional needs would be advantageous but not essential.
