We are seeking a compassionate, calm, and positive Teaching Assistant to join our professional and dedicated Curriculum Support Team from September 2026. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference to the lives of students by supporting their learning, wellbeing, and independence.

The successful candidate will work closely with a student on a one-to-one basis, providing personal and intimate care in accordance with the responsibilities outlined in the job description. In addition, you will play an important role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs both in the classroom and through targeted intervention programmes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing one-to-one support, including personal and intimate care.
  • Supporting students with SEN in lessons and during other school activities.
  • Delivering targeted intervention programmes to support learning and development.
  • Contributing to termly review meetings and supporting planning within the department.
  • Working collaboratively with teaching staff and the wider support team to promote inclusion and positive outcomes for students.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is caring, patient, and committed to inclusive education.
  • Has the ability to build supportive relationships with students and staff.
  • Works well as part of a professional team.
  • Holds a qualification in Special Educational Needs or has a strong interest in this area.
