Teach at Waterloo! An opportunity to join a fabulous caring, supportive and nurturing community. We are looking to appoint a qualified and committed English Lead to join our school that can take accountability for this specific curriculum area. The successful candidate will support in delivering our unique curriculum and help to develop a positive learning environment to meet a range of student needs. The successful candidate will be used to using adaptive teaching methods, so students of all abilities enjoy their learning and are motivated to succeed.
About us
We believe Waterloo School is a very special place. It is one of two primary schools in Hampshire that support pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs. We have spaces for up to seventy four pupils organised into nine classes. All pupils have Educational Health Care Plans. We are proud of our achievements and our pupils thrive in small teaching groups and a supportive learning environment.

As a member of our team you will need to be creative and resilientand be ready to get stuck into everything. You will need to be a person who thinks creatively about how we ensure that our children make great progress academically as well as with their social, emotional and/or mental health challenges.
