SEN Teacher job summary
This is a great opportunity for an experienced teacher looking to move into an optimistic and motivating environment, supported by effective leadership at all levels. As a key member of the teaching team, you will ensure high standards of teaching and learning are delivered to our students, offering a nurturing and topic-based curriculum, to ensure that they are able to access learning. You will have the ability to teach a range of subjects including Maths & English up to GCSE.
Successful applicants will have demonstrable experience of raising expectations and attainment in the classroom. You will hold a deep passion for transforming the lives of young people and have an understanding of inclusive practices to support students experiencing Emotional, Behavioural and Social Difficulties. Hamilton School is a Special School in Reading dedicated to supporting students aged 11-16 with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
