What skills and experience we're looking for
Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of students? North Oxfordshire Academy is seeking a skilled individual to join our team and help deliver high-quality numeracy and literacy intervention programmes to support our students' development.
We would warmly welcome applications from both full time and part time candidates.
Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher with experience in numeracy intervention
- Strong analytical skills and ability to use data effectively
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to engage with families and secure positive support for students
- Commitment to promoting inclusion and diversity
Key Responsibilities:
- Devise numeracy intervention programmes in collaboration with the Head of Maths & SENDCo
- Undertake small-group and one-to-one interventions to help students progress in numeracy
- Analyse assessment data to monitor numeracy development and adjust interventions accordingly
- Work with Learning Coaches to ensure cohesion and effective sharing of intervention details
- Provide 1:1 support for students with EHCP or HLN funding
