The Romero Catholic Academy are seeking to a nurturing and dedicated SEN teacher to join our The Romero Catholic Academy family to support the children in our SEN provision. The SEN provision within our school support a small group of pupils with additional learning needs who are currently working outside of age-related expectations. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering personalised, high‑quality learning experiences tailored to each child’s individual profile. We welcome applications from qualified teachers who have substantial experience leading learning within an SEN environment.
We wish to appoint an exceptional individual who can nurture and cherish the uniqueness of every child as we guide and support them through their journey of faith and education.

The successful candidate will:
- Be passionate about inclusive learning and committed to raising standards for all children.
- Work closely with the SENCo to ensure provision is tailored for every child.
- Plan activities which engage, motivate and inspire pupils.
- Contribute to constructive team - building with staff and families.
- Bring new qualities and strengths to our school
- Be committed to working with parents, governors and the local community;
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and commitment to work as part of a team
- Experience with pupils with complex ASD / non-verbal needs is desirable.
